Europe in Transition: How Do We Secure Our Democracy?
At herCAREER in Munich, experts from politics, research, media, and business discussed the pressing issues of our time: Is our liberal democracy in danger? What measures are necessary to counter populist movements and protect the pluralistic society?

With our recently launched research project “SPLEE – Streaming Platform for Longreads and Essays from Europe”, together with the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf, we invite you to stand up for a pluralistic Europe.
The project, currently in the conception phase, aims to use an AI-supported platform to provide EU citizens with low-barrier, cross-border access to quality media, thereby creating a basis for the holistic communication of European discourses. In the connection of communication and modern technology, difgl sees the key to responding to the challenges of a digitized society and enabling pluralistic, democratic discourses in Europe.
