The difgl – German Institute for the Good Life as a spin-off from TU Berlin – conducts research, advises, and communicates at the interface between technological change and human life.
Its goal is to identify the cultural techniques and skills necessary for a good life in the future society, to derive suitable strategies from them, and to communicate and disseminate them in an advisory and implementing capacity.
Worldwide, we are at a turning point in social order. New technologies, communication, and AI-driven automation of broad areas present us with new material realities. In these times of transformation and transition, the question increasingly arises as to which direction the course for the future should be set.
Because despite all technological progress and societal changes, we are all human beings, bound to our bodies and their needs. A fact that connects us with all generations, cultures, and societies throughout history.
