Difgl goes Berlin Science Week

6.8.2024
Events

From November 1st to 10th, the Berlin Science Week will transform the city of Berlin into a dynamic festival of scientific ideas and debates. With various venues throughout the city and online events, it offers a vibrant platform for public exchange on topics from science and research, as well as their role in a better future for all. Over 180 participating organizations and more than 600 stakeholders and thought leaders from science, art, and politics have already registered, attracting a diverse audience of over 30,000 participants.

In this context, an exciting, innovative competition has been created in cooperation with High Art Bureau. Inspired by the motto “Rethinking Freedom” of the Science Year 2024 of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, the competition’s theme is “Rethinking Freedom.” The competition aims to showcase ideas and approaches that, based on scientific findings, critically examine the consequences of the use of artificial intelligence on freedom. Students and young scientists from Berlin and the surrounding area are invited to apply with their own project ideas and designs from the field of artificial intelligence.

The submitted works will be evaluated by a 5-member expert jury from science and research, including Difgl founder and managing director Katja Anclam.
