The German Institute for the Good Life is looking for an Office Manager with a total of 20 hours per week in Berlin, starting October 1, 2024.
For our location in Berlin, we are looking for an Office Manager / Secretary to take over administrative tasks, office organization, and project coordination.
The tasks include:
- Maintenance and development of project-internal infrastructures
- Research, request, and handling of cooperation with external service providers, locations, and freelancers
- Data storage, creation of templates, and maintenance of overview tables, presentations, agendas, and minutes
- Support in the planning and execution of events and workshops
- Logging and evaluation of meetings
- Procurement, organization, and maintenance of office supplies
- Light tasks in human resources management, such as overview of vacations and maintenance of calendars
- Travel planning & booking and expense accounting
- Preparatory accounting
Required:
- A commercial education in the field of office management, marketing communication, or a comparable qualification
- At least two years of professional experience in the areas of communication, project management, or office assistance
- Organized and independent way of working
- Very good knowledge of all common Office applications, as well as CMS applications such as WordPress
- Interest in marketing / communication, sustainability, innovation, and research contexts
- Having a permanent residence in Berlin
