The “Marktschwalbe” drone delivery service was launched in Wusterhausen/Dosse on Friday!
Congratulations to Tobias Biehle and Dr. Robin Kellermann from Luftlabor, who are implementing this project with the municipality of Wusterhausen and Dronegy.
Difgl CEO Christoph Henseler and Katja Anclam were there live when the “Marktschwalbe”, in front of the press and numerous guests, successfully flew more than 9 km with an initial load to neighboring Trieplatz from Germany’s first drone port.
In the coming months, Luftlabor will be testing the use of delivery drones to improve local rural services in northwestern Brandenburg and, with the Marktschwalbe, is offering a unique #Lieferdrohnenservice (delivery drone service) between the urban marketplace and more remote parts of the community.
